Who Am I?
Born in Canada with Syrian and Iraqi heritage, my journey into the wellness world began 20 years ago, when I attended my first ever yoga class. Something shifted in me that day, but it would take me years to figure out what that was.
After that experience, and before stepping fully into the world of wellness, I spent more than 20 years working in hospitality, tourism, retail and other highly people-focused environments. Those years taught me far more than customer service. They honed my ability to read a room, sense what someone might need before they ask, meet people exactly where they are, and create an environment where people feel genuinely welcomed and at ease.
Working so closely with people over the years gave me an innate understanding of the human spirit and psyche — the many ways we protect ourselves, connect, communicate and move through the world. I bring that understanding into the spaces I facilitate today.
My role is not to tell people who they should be, but to create the conditions for them to meet themselves more deeply.
My approach weaves together movement, meditation, breath, touch, sound and energy work to create experiences that invite people out of the thinking mind and back into the body. I believe that meaningful transformation doesn't always come from trying to fix or change ourselves; often, it begins with creating enough safety to simply feel, listen and become aware.
